Courses — common questions

Are all courses available for the January intake?
No. Each university runs only a select set of programmes in January. The list above covers the fields that are typically open every year — final availability depends on the university and the year.
What's the advantage of taking a STEM course?
STEM-designated courses build a strong base for technical roles, and hiring demand for these fields in the UK tends to be higher. The visa duration is the same across all courses.
Can I move into Data Science or Computer Science from a non-IT background?
Yes — "conversion" masters are designed exactly for this. Programming is taught from the ground up. Data Science requires some basic comfort with maths.
Will I get a course if I have backlogs?
Many universities accept 5–15 backlogs, depending on the course and overall percentage. The exact list can only be confirmed after reviewing your marksheet.
What are the course fees?
Typically £12,000–£20,000 per year, depending on the course and university. MBA fees can run slightly higher. A full breakdown of fees and living costs is provided with every shortlist.
